my face-to-face Interaction with Susan west: brittany highlands hoa president
On September the 18, 2024, my neighbor informed me that there were going to be a "board meeting" at the pool area, which would include two (2) electrical contractors to talk about the electrical pannel boxes to the buildings.
I arrived at the pool approximately 2:55 pm. No one had arrived, nor visible at the pool area other than myself. Later, approximately 3:07 P.M. Two female persons arrived. I went over to the area in which they were sitting. I asked each them of them if they were board members. Both said yes.
I asked the older female first was she a board member and she said yes. Next, I asked her by saying, you are? And she said Susan. Then I turned to the younger femalesittng on the steps to the entrance to the pool area, and I asked her who she was by saying, and you are? And she said, Katrina.
And I immediately turned back to susan and said to her, I am a little confused. I get an emailed saying Susan West is the president of the board, then I geat an emailed saying that Sharon Hall is the president. So, who is the president of the board you or Sharon? Susan responded by saying "I am".
So, I said I understand that there will be two (2) Contrators coming out to talk about the electrical pannel boxes. Susan said to me there is only one(1), Sky Blue, as I recall.
Next, I responded by asking Susan "so, why are you oppossed to expanding the number of board members?". And she responded "I am not oppossed to expanding the board members".At this point Katrina interjected by saying, " I am not oppossed to expanding the board members either. No one wants to volunteer". So, I turned back to Susan and asked her directly,"why are you on the board?", and her response was, "if someone else want the job they can have it".
My resonse to Susan was, "all that Sean Keith Morrissey has done since he been here I have been here is just raise HOA dues.
Susan responsed immediately by stating that she didn't like it either. And informed me that she owned property here as well. I said, oh yea, the"Susan West Trust Fund". And and she got livit! She said "that is personal information". So, I responded by saying, why should you care about the increases in HOA dues? All you are going to do is just pass it own down to your renters. So, is just a profit center for you. So, why should you care, right? And Susan responed by saying, "I do Care".
At this point, as I recall, I asked Susan, why is Sean Keith Morrisey running our meetings, and not the board. She told me point blank, " I don't know"!
I continued my line of quesrioning by asking Susan why she is continuing to Defend and support Sean Keith Morrissey because all that he has done since I've here is to continue to raise HOA dues, and nothing else. And he refusing to provide a physical address to us. And I said to her "he operates his business out of P O Box". So, "why are you protecting him?", I asked Susan.
Her response, Susan West's, to that question was that "he has a right to his privacy".
I responsed to Susan by saying, "he operates his business out of a mail to avoid being served legal papers if he needs to apear in court, if someone wants to take him to court".
Her response once a again was that "he has his rights to privacy".
So, I responsed to her by asking this question, "why are you defending this criminal, this thug, who resfuses to provide a physical bussiness address to avoid receiving legaldocuments to appear in court if someone wants to take him to court?", she said "he has his rights to privacy". And she walked away from the area.
I remained in and around the pool area waiting for the contractor to show up. No contract ever showed up and both, Susan and Katrina left the pool area. And susan West proceeded to leave/ drive off the property at approximately 3:24 p.m.
And that's what took place on that particular day of the so-called "board meeting"!
